National Space Day August 23

 National Space Day in India is celebrated on August 23 to commemorate the historic landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon in 2023. The day was proclaimed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to recognize India's achievement of becoming the fourth country to land on the moon and

the first to land near its southern polar region.
